Kind of a Nice Life

The man was once a child himself, of course. Everyone was a child once upon a time. He had lived with his parents in an attractive apartment. After his schooling he did an apprenticeship. He got up early every morning and went to work. And when the man had a family of his own, it was a good life. But then bad times came.
