Eric Investigates: The Conquest of the Space

For 12 years, Eric Mayer has had a children's science program on German television: Eric Investigates. The concept of the TV series as well as these books: children experience first-hand a subject that Eric has tested out himself and wants to know more about.  

The books are also effective if the author is completely unknown to the readers. The result is a book series in which he gives a very personal report of his experiences and feelings during the research missions, and he also conveys a lot of background information.
