Conni and the Adventure at the Foggy Lake (vol. 48)

by Julia Boehme, illustriert von Herdis Albrecht

Conni is absolutely thrilled! She’s allowed to go away with Anna and her parents. And in their holiday town there’s not only a fairytale castle, but also a big lake where you can go pedal boating.

Luckily, their new friends Fabienne and Max know the area really well, and together they set off. But then a thick fog rolls in, and the children remember the legend of Gunnar the Terrible, whose ghost is said to haunt the lake.

In the end, though, they safely reach the shore — and they’ve had a truly great adventure.

  • The stories are self‑contained and can be read independently of the rest of the series
  • Each Conni volume offers great stories that always come from children’s everyday lives and in which they can see themselves
