Even as a child, Gabriele Tafuni drew his own world full of fantastical animals and funny plants. Inspired by comics and manga, he originally dreamed of becoming a comic artist. But during his studies at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin, he discovered his passion for children’s book illustration — and has remained devoted to it ever since.
