Wilhelmina Refuses Christmas

by Tamara Bach, illustriert von Heike Herold

Everyone loves Christmas, right? Well, not Wilhelmina!

Wilhelmina is seriously annoyed. Everything is suddenly all about Christmas. Even in math they’re doing exercises with cookies and angels. And in German, they’re supposed to write a stupid Christmas poem. And once she gets going, she actually starts to really enjoy it!  But when Robert reads one of her poems out loud in front of the whole class and makes fun of it, Wilhelmina could burst with rage! And it gets even worse: she’s supposed to come up with a Secret Santa present — for him of all people.

Meanwhile, Wilhelmina would much rather be making birthday plans. But will anyone even have time to celebrate a day before Christmas?
