After a serious accident and the subsequent amputation of her right arm, Akane believes her life is over. Since this event, she has shut herself off from the outside world and spends her days bitter and frightened, but in a rare moment of recklessness and boredom, she dares to leave the house again and meets a cheeky girl called Kate. However, she finds herself the target of a mad TV producer who unceremoniously scraps a documentary about a famous para-athlete and instead stages a dangerous chase with Kate as a hostage.
