Max at the Knight's Castle

In this volume, children learn all about life in a castle and the world of knights. Max and his friend Pauline take a trip to a real castle. There they are welcomed by a blacksmith, who lets them look over his shoulder as he works. Additionally, they learn about the construction of castles, what knights and noblemen wore, and what they ate.
