Grey Days

Tabea and Lissy are both 16 and are doing a three‑month student exchange — Tabea in Australia, Lissy in the USA. In Australia, Tabea will find her first boyfriend. Lissy, on the other hand, leaves her first love behind in Germany, but her boyfriend wants to wait for her.

The two girls experience very different host families and have to stand their ground in difficult situations. Lissy goes through tear‑filled, grey days that she can no longer escape on her own. Tabea, however, finds her way, overcomes the challenges, and returns from the exchange stronger than before.
