Roya Soraya enjoys telling stories with a feminist perspective and focuses on the diversity and humanity of her characters. Her comic work has been supported with grants from, among others, the Berlin Senate and the Goethe‑Institut. In addition to graphic novels, Roya Soraya creates commissioned illustration work and gives workshops and readings.
