Rieke Patwardhan spent her childhood climbing trees and reading all the books she could steal from her older sisters. After an apprenticeship as a bookseller and graduating with a degree in psychology, she writes stories that other children can now read in trees. In October 2020, I was awarded the "Special Prize for New Talents" of the German Youth Literature Award.
